The gist of 3-legged stein racing:

Participants, attached with a band around ankles, must run a designated length and back while carrying a stein full of liquid without spilling. The team who ends the race with the most liquid in the steins wins.

 

3-legged stein racing rules:

• Teams of 2 over the age of 21

• Team members must fully cross the designated lines before returning to the start

• Any liquid lost from the steins is out of play

• Only liquid remaining in the mugs is counted

• The team with the most liquid in their mugs at the end of the race wins
